STL ISC (00XX, 01XX, 02XX, 03XX, 04XX) Retirement Watch/Sightings

Recommended Posts

I took 0409 on the 151, 0412 on the 76, and 0308 on the 37 this afternoon. Last year, the summer schedules meant the end of everything older than 2003. As the summer schedule for this year starts this Saturday, I am not taking any chances and thus am riding what could be the last week of ISC at Laval.

Also spotted 0402 on the 151.

The STL will be eliminating Accessible routes with the new schedules, so we will see more older units on the road. Not to mention the STL will be providing the buses for athletes and spectators for Les Jeux du Quebec, so not the end of the older buses on the road.

Oldest bus at STL is 0301 as of January 1, 2022. One of the 04xx is retired as well, although I don't know which one.

Let's see if the ISCs will come out again; fingers crossed.

They just made the new route 16 accessible, so it's still a thing. For the general interest, it's upgraded from a taxibus route starting next Monday.

They are just no longer guaranteeing it to be a front ramp bus, like the STM. Since Laval buses do not have rear ramps, it could happen that a user might have to skip a bus.
