Images for NYU and MTA

For NYU: There is just a blank link at the LFS page - I think this was one of @Orion6025's former pictures.

Neither of the photos meet the existing photography standards for the Wiki. 2144 is a completely front-on shot of a bus where the bus is not the primary focus of the photo, and the XE40 has issues with the colour, shadowing and legibility. They're fine for "artsy" photos and for you to share as part of your own personal collection, but the purpose of photos on the Wiki is to show a good example of the bus, which neither of those two do.

@BroncoFan623, please ensure that photos you upload meet the Wiki's guidelines. I have deleted 2144's photo for this reason.

Here is a better picture of NYU’s Novas, this time of 2146!

I think this should meet the wiki photography standards.

Hopefully this works!

Best,

Thanks so much!

While we’re on this topic, I just noticed that the MNR page needs a bit of work.

https://cptdb.ca/wiki/index.php/Metro-North_Commuter_Railroad

- 2008 Brookville BL20GH, numbers 110-115, 125-130, used on upper Harlem Line (north of Southeast) and Danbury and Waterbury Branches. 125 rebuilt in 2017 into a BL20GHM, 128 rebuilt in 2019 into a BL20GHM. Engine: Detroit Diesel 12V4000 V12. 126-127, 129-130 are heritage units and painted in the New Haven Railroad scheme. Photo of 129:418D3D2C-0CAF-41A8-8D20-17B96041E105.thumb.jpeg.cbe3e4a7fbc73d8557b269fcc91936bc.jpeg

- The numbers of the GP40FH-2Ms and GP40PH-2Ms have changed to the 49xx series. These units are used exclusivley kn the Port Jervis line. The FH’s are numbered 4900-4905 (picture of 4901 below) and the PH is numbered 4906. Both were rebuilt 1992 and again in 2007.DE8059CB-F6CC-48D7-9392-FF5A78DC0B39.thumb.jpeg.811c995c1ad18376f8a42e96239fbdee.jpeg

- The F40PH-3Cs are numbered 4907-4914, not in the 41xx series.

- For the P32AC-DMs, 228-231 are heritage units and painted in the New Haven Railroad scheme.

- All GP40s and F40s are planned to be replaced by Siemens SC-44 Chargers sometime soon.

Hopefully you can add these!

Metro North and CTrail has been on my radar... been working on updating the commuter rail pages over the past couple of months, and left the more complicated (and lengthier history) systems in the NY area for later. Those two are next on my list, likely to follow after I'm done the new ETS route pages.

Thanks for the updates and pictures, and I'll try to get to them sometime soon.

The Metro-North page has been updated with the locomotive changes above, and I've created pages for all of the locomotive units.

Thank you!
