Could you make that the thumbnail photo on the Columbia University page (I am working on a route details section) XE40 2994 IMO only the first and the last photos follow the photo guideline and could be added to the wiki. The second image is a little blurry and the cropping is a little weird. The third image is too zoomed in and the bumper is cut-off. The fourth image obstructed by the car. I'll add the first and the last picture in a few minutes. 1 hour ago, Orion6025 said: So, 4959=bc4007, 60=bc4008, and so on? Articulated
I would just like to remind all users that there are photograph standards that need to be considered and followed when uploading photos to the Wiki. The point of photographs on the Wiki are to provide an example of what a certain model/fleet/series of buses look like. It isn't intended to have a comprehensive gallery showcasing every bus that has ever existed at every stage of its life. If there's already a couple of photos on the Wiki for a series, it's not necessary to upload many photos that can barely scrape by the minimum standards. While the photograph guidelines that are in place are intended to set a sort of minimum standard, there should also be a level of common sense regarding whether a photo should be considered something that would really be appropriate to upload. The Wiki is also not intended to be personal photo galleries for users, and it's not supposed to be a competition to see who can get the most photos uploaded. Throwing up any old photo is fine if you want to do it on your own personal Facebook or Flickr account, or on your own personal website. Focus on taking a little bit of time to get the shot set up, rather than just getting any random grab shot, and you'll end up with a way better photo. (Source: experience. I took a ton of terrible photos back in my early days that I'm not proud of now... but it takes a lot of learning, advice, and bad shots to figure out what works and what doesn't.) 1
