For those interested in gettinfg 8222 in 1/43 scale there's one avaiable on E Bay. It's from the same individual I bought 8201 from. Its NOT CHEAP!!! 😲 I can tell you that, but if any one's interested here's the link:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-GM-New-Look-Articulated-Coach-Bus-New-Paint-Ottawa-Canada-Hand-Made-1-43/293186133380?hash=item4443415d84:g:vAcAAOSw8EhdUdFe

It's nice but expensive.

Route 152 as been replaced by Route 58 at the Sandcastle Drive stop.

Do you think we should start a new thread for this since we talk about this quite frequently here.

Well seeing as its been advertised that its going to happen for months now, I really don’t think making another thread is required. If any mistakes are made, post them in the OC Transpo/STO Mistakes thread.

The flags on Fitzgerald Rd in Bells Corners have also been updated with routes 57 and 58, but only in the northbound direction.

What's interesting is both the 58 Bells Corners and the 58 Lincoln Fields stop at the same stops on Fitzgerald, as buses will loop around Moodie, Robertson, and Fitzgerald as the 58 Bells Corners, and end at Fitzgerald / Moodie, before looping a second time as the 58 Lincoln Fields and proceeding north on Moodie.

Would that mean that technically route 58 Lincoln Fields would be stopping at Fitzgerald / Moodie twice? Or would a stop on northbound Moodie at Menten (currently on the south side of Menten) possibly be moved to the north side of Menten to prevent this?

Bus stop flags have begun being switched over in Alta Vista, along new routes 46, 140, 141, 55, and for the 44 Hurdman. I find it funny how a bus stop flag, for example, now has routes 46, 140, 141 on it, but really, despite there being three routes, the service level is the same as before, provided by just one route (112).

Bus flags along Richmond (Route 97) had been replaced to Route 57. They now also feature frequent limited service route 11 on it, as service pass Lincoln Fields will only operate every 30 minutes. I think this is a great change as this will supplement service on route 97 for kids who have to go to Woodroffe high school during peak periods

Apparently there's going to be a new route 266? Oh and the new connextion routes will serve Greenbank/417, which is pointless since you have 4 all day routes that always serve Tunney's and Route 58 will extend to Tunney's during peak periods.

New Connexion route for Kanata North, dancing with the 63 and 64. It'll bypass Teron Road and Teron Station completely, using March Road instead.

Thanks man. Also, bus flags between Carlingwood and Lincoln Fields westbound direction now allow people to board/disembark on rural shoppers Routes. Though it's kinda screwed up as some stops will only have 1 rural shoppers route as opposed to all 3 west rural shoppers routes. (For example, Carling/Woodroffe only has the 301, while Kelly Funeral Home has 2, 301 and 303. Carling/Edgeworth has 301,303 and 305).

Would anybody happen to have the delivery and in-service dates for 9801-9885 and 4001-4140?

I also seem to recall reading somewhere that 9885 was delivered in March 1999.

That whole thing drives me crazy.

I always have trouble finding the fleet number on those buses.

266 is for Kanata North (Innovation Station, Briarbrook, Morgan's Grant) as previously stated. It brings back true express service for the area, that was removed when express route 60 was combined with the 93, and then renumbered to the 63 we have now.

251 is for Bells Corners (replaces route 256 on Old Richmond, Robertson, Richmond, and Holly Acres)… not really sure why, though. Is there maybe an overcrowding on the 256 that warrants this change? Bells Corners has service on three connexion routes after this change... 251, 252, 256.

256 trips took 1hr and 10 mins pre re-routing via Robertson. The rerouting added another 15 mins to the trip, not to mention it was re routed to travel via the Transitway. This change will decrease the time for Briddlewood customers while Bells Corners will benefit with one-time service.

Also, here's the 266 map

Yeah, that would do it. Almost an hour and a half for an express trip is a bit much...

Just out of curiosity, does anybody know how often the OC Transpo real-time GPS API gets updated? The reason I'm asking is because of a significant number of issues currently (which I've mentioned but nobody at OC seemed to care or know how to fix). Routinely I see a hybrid appear in the API as a DD, or a DD with no bike rack, or a Nova appear as a DD... I really wish and hope they fix the issues, if they're even aware of them...
