Community Shuttle
Apparently very few were imported and sold in the US. Does anyone know if there are still some survivors out there, running or not? These were produced between 1982-1990 but I'm not sure if that applies to the US market. Board Admin A. Wong Posted September 20, 2019 Board Admin Report Share Posted September 20, 2019 From the photo, I wonder if they were only ever imported to Hawaii.
IRT_BMT_IND
There were a few Hino demonstrators in New York in the early 1980s.

They were transit models, not tourist coaches. Aside from being left hand drive (and larger FMVSS spec bumpers) they looked mostly identical to contemporary JDM Hino buses. IDK if they had any typical American transit bus specs like floor mounted turn signals and stop request cords.

T6H-5307N
Looking at the photo, the design reminds me of the VanHool and Setra coaches of that vintage... perhaps not many were imported on account of being very similar to existing coaches in the market at the time?
