Why would you be driving a Wilson bus if you work at Mount dennis, you should just stop with your lies, and being a foamer.

It's kinda strange how the Orion VII HEVs are lasting longer then the regular Orion VII. Just saying.

I've always heard that the 1000 series HEV are very reliable verses the Next Gen HEV models.

Oh nice. Entitlement to thinking you have rights to threaten a member. Amazing.

We only know of 7907 7911 7929 7936 7939 are retired. Can't be 7929 as that one has been missing for a while from hillcrest.

The only other unit that I can think of that might be retired is 7931. Everything else was put back in service, or is still in service.

Did some checking and apparently 7907 7911 7929 7939 have been sold to Sault Ste Marie transit and were towed away earlier this week. 7931 has a failed engine, not sure if it's retired or will be repaired.

The Sault Ste Marie report only stated 4 buses were gonna be bought, numbers now add up to 5 buses if this is true

Are they second hand units? SSMT has two buses built in 2006 using the same TTC specs while they bought four other buses built in 2004 from Thunder Bay last year.

One question: if those 7900s are being sold to Sault Ste. Marie, what is actually supposed to retire this year. The fleet plan says around 129 ISL OGs will retire this year but can anyone confirm? I don’t work at ttc so I’m wondering if someone who works there can confirm what retires this year.

The SSM units are not TTC spec'd at all. I am going to assume the ones they bought from here are going to be for service as they have been experiencing some fleet shortages over the last while.

I spoke to two mechanics from malvern today. One who was taking some cords out of 1775 said that any unrebuilt hybrids that show up at markham that aren't stripped yet are to be decomissioned. I asked about the rebuilt hybrids, and both said the same thing. They don't know what they are doing with them, but any that are in the new paint will try and be repaired as they already put money into them.

As of right now, 1825 1827 linger at the markham side and are not stripped. Further south is 1667 and a stripped 1794. 1501 1685 are parked down the driveway. Everything else (1824 1612 1781 1775 1779 1778 1799 1807 1596 1513) are stripped in the drive way.

Lastly, I have been informed by a soruce that 7784 is currently being stored at Hillcrest. This could be the og that was stored close to 8058 along with a few stripped hybrids. I have no clue what its doing there and if this is 7784. I can only guess that its being used as parts for the 7575 7808 restoration, or parts for the 79 80. Its hard to see it with all the stripped hybrids nearby.

I would love to ride 7575 again. I haven't seen any 7900's around Birchmount except for the ES buses, just a lot of Novas. I'll try to go to Langilles in June after I fix the AC and windshield on my (my parents') car.

9003 is now confirmed to be retired and is the second Novabus to retire early (around 3-4 years)

(Somebody needs to make a Novabus retirement forum, if their already is one)

A little research would show that the 7900s are ISL/Allison and the SSM units are also ISL/Allison.  Seating layout and drivers compartment features are very minor differences in the grand scheme of things.

Before telling people to do their research you should try to post CORRECT information and not assumptions.

The TTC 7900s could be for service in SSM but I'd like confirmation from someone who is not you!

These were just taken about 45 minutes ago in Sault Saint Marie. 7911 and either 1584 or 1784. They appear to have been delivered not too long ago today.

Without the fleet number on the Orion VII, it kinda looks like a D40LF
