8357 is on display at City Hall for an event

Not sure how they got it in there, but they had a hell of a time getting it out last night. Didn't want to scrape a brand new bus I guess with just inches on that ramp on either side.

They should have just left it there... they've got so many!

Reminds me of Grand Theft Auto, when you would type in the cheat codes and summon vehicles right on the spot in front of you.

Weird though, why wouldn't they just leave it on the street? Or maybe Olympic Park...? It just seems crazy to bring a bus up there, without too much thought about how it would leave afterwards ?

So they're all in service, and presumably doing well judging by the lack of commentary on them here.

Personally they're a good experience, somewhat quieter but otherwise very similar overall to their Diesel cousins. I do enjoy seeing one drive by knowing that it's producing significantly less emissions than other models.

So... when's the next batch coming? ?

What unit was it?  Did you move to the front to see how it was?

I don't remember the unit number - I did go to the front to ask if the AC could be turned on. The driver said "there is no AC on this bus" lol.

Odd how this is still an ongoing issue.... The wording of what I was told on Day 1 of service was that there's a problem with the AC system. Given these buses have sealed windows, this kind of problem shouldn't be taken lightly during the summer.

These buses seem to have taken over the NW! I think I've been on one every day this week, and I see them everywhere - on the 138, 299, 76, 113, etc. Not just the new fleet but 8201-8204 as well. Is this just because their garage is in the North?

Don't get me wrong, I'm NOT complaining - love new stuff and breathing cleaner air is awesome. I'm just surprised at their sudden upsurge in the NW in particular.

Hah, i'd love to see them take over the SE. I've only gotten to ride one of them once. ?
