Board Admin A. Wong Posted November 25, 2018 Board Admin Report Share Posted November 25, 2018 We received an email inquiry from someone wanting to find out more about Ferguson Bus Lines, in particular their school bus fleet and the routes they took. If anyone had information it would be welcome! They also ran charter coaches, some of which are documented on the CPTDB Wiki: https://cptdb.ca/wiki/index.php/Ferguson_Bus_Lines
BCT-3122-D800-10240
Cardinal Coach Lines took over their School Bus fleet back in 2000. Myself and other Cardinal drivers moved most of their School bus fleet from the Ferguson yard to the Cardinal yard in the summer of 2000. Some buses were retired and not used in the Cardinal fleet and some were. I also have a few photos on my website of the Ferguson coach fleet on my website but have very few School bus photos of their fleet. http://www.busdrawings.com/coach/ferguson/index.htm
JSlyk
Thank you. I am the person who was inquiring about Ferguson bus lines. I rode the Ferguson bus as a child back in the 1960s. I believe the owner was Fred (?) Ferguson who drove the bus. I am doing historical research on my specific school bus route taken during this time. Do you know if any of the route records or route maps exist anywhere? Is there any way to track this down? Thank you.
BCT-3122-D800-10240
I don't... What I have on my website is about the most of what I know about them. Have you tried contacting the school you went to, to see if they have any archives?
JSlyk
The school wouldn't have any record of the bus route.
