Cold Shot has now suspended Cold Lake and Jasper passenger services til further notice. All other schedules above will operate as listed. So now with this temporary suspension it leaves Cold Lake with no bus service at all!

Who produces the bodies for Cold Shot's Chev and Ford cutaways? I saw at least one photo of a low-floor model, possibly a Glaval Titan II LF? I don't recognise any of the other buses in images, which look like this:

Coldshot has about 12 that look like this exterior wise just some are different inside seating configurations. They also have 3 Ford like this too all 20 seat configuration (plus 1 freight only)

Cold Shot is consolidating their 2 Edmonton operations Head office and Passenger services into one New Larger location which will also service their growing Parcel Express operation, They've simply grown out of their current location on 119 St.  So Effective October 30th they will move to 11550-154 Street.

Cold Shot's passenger terminal in Edmonton will be moving at the end of the month.  The new location is 11550 154 Street NW, near the Yellowhead in West Edmonton.  The location is in an industrial park and not pedestrian-friendly, however there is an ETS stop on 118 Ave about a 5 minute walk away.

Bus 66 is the regular Grande Prairie to Ft St John bus. They do use 65 on occasion too. Both are the only Cold Shot buses with BC plates that can operate to BC from Alberta based out of Grande Prairie. However in the coming months a New bus will be operating the Grande Prairie to Ft St John schedule as the current ones are simply too small of a capacity for cargo. The new one will have same seating cap just much larger cargo area which is definentley needed.

It's not perfect but it's definentley a major upgrade from what they have now. It will offer a larger parking area for their fleet and their employees as well as being able to consolidate their current passenger terminal and administrative offices into one location.Plus it will feature a bigger passenger waiting area and a much needed expanded warehouse for their growing parcel business. Its not easy to find a location that works for everyting but they did a pretty good job for what they could find.

With the new location and room for more equipment Cold Shot has upgraded their fleet as  they have acquired several units. 2-3 Thomas built and freightliner buses with air ride, leather seats and look like a full size reg bus on the inside with a much larger cargo area also. They have also acquired several bigger and better trailers too. THis is to accomodate the ever expanding freight services. The newer units seat 24 passengers and are much more comfortable than the smaller units they have. Also the Grande Prairie to Fort St John run saw a brand new coach a 12 seater start its first run today with led lights leather seats and overhead racks. A massive cargo area also for the ever growing Freight business into BC Peace Country. Also the Edmonton to Peace River route has received a newer bus also similar to the one for Gp-Fsj run.

The Newer 24 seat buses are now operating on the Night runs to Grande Prairie,Fort McMurray and Calgary. The buses I've found out are 2020 Thomas Built buses with Air Ride with a nice interior looks just like a reg bus on the inside. And a massive cargo area in the back. These 3 units were purchased used at Auction and have very low km on them they were very well maintained units and operated previously as spare buses for a crew transportation provider. Cold Shot also purchased a lone Freightliner Bus 24 passenger Diesel with Air Ride also which is used as a spare unit and can occassionally be found on the day run to Fort McMurray or the Day run to Grande Prairie. A few of the older smaller buses have been retired and a couple converted for freight service.  Also in the next few months Cold Shot will open a Calgary North location operated by Cold Shot itself and this will be a starting point to eventually service all of Calgary.

Unit 66 no longer operates to BC its now in Edmonton and I believe it operates to Cold Lake or is a spare unit, Unit 81 is the new primary unit and is a  12 seat  Ford. Bus 65 is the spare bus as it has been for the last 4 years.

Unit 64 is retired and no longer active. Unit 72 has been retired due to mechanical issues, Unit 71 converted for freight service . Unit 73 converted for freight service. So 74 is the only active 20 seat Chev still operating.  Unit 50070 has not been active for at least 4 years, prior to 2018, I should be able to confirm rest of unit numbers within next 2 weeks for the thomas and freightliner buses.Update- Unit 82 is a Freightliner Odyssey seats 24 pass, Unit 83-85 is the Thomas buses and Unit 80 is just like 81.

Some changes to Note, Eff Apr 10th the Calgary Agency has moved all Passenger/Parcel Operations and P&D to a company operated terminal at # 6-1313-44 Ave Ne and they will continue to use the Centex stop on 4th Ave at Memorial Drive also. So Service at the Flying J Shell on the southside has now been discontinued as well as passenger service will no longer operate to Airdrie.

Unit 64 was thought to be retired but I saw it last week doing a regular scheduled run to Grande Prairie. Apparently it was just in the shop for an extended period of time(over 8 months) waiting for parts.

Cold Shot has streamlined their Fort McMurray Operations and the Day Schedule- 11 am to Fort Mac and 515pm return from Ft Mac have been reduced to Mon to Wed Only as these are the days with good ridership. The 1255am Mon to Sat from Edmonton and 715 am to Edmonton will Continue to Operate as usual with strong ridership numbers.
