I have been informed that the ttc will use this bus to test out the charging machines and infrastructure built for the new flyer electric buses. I have been informed the first new flyer xe40 may not arrive this week but it should be here early april if there any delays for the deliveries. 9 1

Plus that is for 20 buses each. The orders are only for 10.

They would most likely be built at the US plant.

Bombardier 2.0? BYD is building a plant in Canada, it's part of why they've been so delayed in delivering theirs for the TTC (originally scheduled for December of 2018)

No politician, municipal or otherwise would touch them with a ten foot pole now....even if they turned out to be the long shot winners in performance. And that’s a big if. Frankly I’m somewhat surprised the 20 from them haven’t been deep sixed somehow already.
