A BYD was apparently delivered to Eglinton 2 weeks ago.

Dan

Actually come to think of it, maybe in the silence of the night, it went there but no one saw it and no one from this board works at Eglinton...

I dont know where you got the info.  The inly byd unit i spotted at eglinton is the byd prototype.

I was told by someone higher up the food chain that one was delivered. Not that it was a production model or anything else.

I have yet to seen it.  It won't be difficult to spot since it is most likely the only vehicle with full red rear.

There is a photo of one at MTB for some kind of training there probanly. It was plain white with an ad rack.

MTB was contracted to paint the buses and provide PDI. I'm guessing the advertisement frame was installed by mistake before paint. They were all shipped there before TTC took delivery.

Apparently there are a bunch of TTC BYD buses in Newmarket at the facility they recently opened. All under tarps however.

I just came across this:

http://novabus.com/transit-solutions/electro-mobility/?fbclid=IwAR3t5BdgK839B8H33fOl1s68r0qWXVwZQPO8Iub4Z07cM0n57Fe4RTqpfNo

http://novabus.com/bus/lfse-plus/

Nova Bus just recently introduced their new long range electric bus, the LFSe+. Maybe the TTC will be interested in looking into these buses since they already have a growing fleet of novas.

I'm pretty sure Brampton was sharing its results with the TTC when they recieve their electrics.

Just saw 3729 training on Runnymede, if someone can add the license plate that would be great.

The rear window reminds me of the rectangular rear window on the D800s, but in the finished coated style

Now I see and am glad the TTC cancelled the rest of the expansion order of the K9. It's almost Halloween and the first bus still hasn't arrived!

It's delivery is imminent, if it hasn't happened already. There's photos of it online doing laps of some non-descript industrial area.

Can you post a link to that please?

Apologies if it's been reported already but someone spotted a TTC BYD in the wild

EDIT: This is the ugliest fucking application of the LFLRV scheme I've seen and I thought the OG was bad

EDIT 2 BECAUSE OF CONNER: Credit to whoever took the photo even though i don't know
