Interesting how they're going straight to a high volume route like the 35. Looks like they're expecting these to work like a charm which I don't see happening...

From a test and evaluation standpoint, it makes sense to put them on a high volume demanding route.  Jane also has some pretty good hills, too, in addition to the heavy loading.  The whole purpose of testing and evaluating these buses is to determine what their operating characteristics are like and what their limitations are so a lightly used line with easy terrain and short service hours is an environment pretty much any bus will do well in but it isn't one that you'll learn a whole lot about the performance envelope etc. from.  Remember, you don't learn very much when everything goes right.

That sucks. The Gemini seats are so comfortable.

All in all it's a really good looking bus but I notice the 3 digit run box. I dont see us making much use from the extra digit...

Think of it: they could put a fancy zero in front!

I'm surprised the TTC went frameless windows for the XE40s. I wonder what the factor went into making that decision.

In either case, this will certainly be a nice change from NovaBus which i personally detest for various reasons.

The LFS in Toronto was one of those yay wow moments. But now there are so many of each model there, the excitement goes away.

I'm curious as to what the weight difference is between framed and non-framed; those full size panes have to be pretty porky...and more expensive...
