5307
GRT 2603 on "Cambridge Service Area" Route 51 today 8/31. Nice !! The Kitchener driver who "just had to be first to drive one" is probably crying. GRT 2601 will be first used this Saturday evening for a wedding charter. I know this to be true 'cause I have that assignment.

I had not heard anything about this order previously.

5307
Kitchener should have some in service today, but I have not seen any. GRT 2602 and 2604 were delivered to Cambridge last night, and 2604 is on 51 this afternoon.
Orion VIII
Is 51 Cambridge's busiest route?
Greater Golden Horseshoe Transit
Is 51 Cambridge's busiest route? I would say its a toss-up between the 51 and 52. While 51 plys Hespeler Road, the main commercial corrdiro, and links to the Hespeler, Cambridge Centre and Ainslie Street Terminals, the 52 is the only route (other than iXpress) that really links Kitchener to Cambridge, and is heavily used. 5307
51 is busier than 52 by a long shot ..... that's why I sign it all the time ..... time flies when you're having fun. 51 is every 15 minutes during the day as well whereas 52 is always 30 minute headway, and even at that 51's are still busier. The OhMyExpress has taken a lot of heat off the 52.
TC60102N
Rode 2603 on the 51, I must say they are much better than the 2400s , and have alot of differences on the INSIDE besides the seats, such as panels, heater, dash, etc etc

They always seem to do this~~when the D40LFs were new the first one I saw in service was on the 51 (bus 2207) and then a few weeks later they had 2206 on the 51 as well, and now they're doing it with the 26s as the 52 had a VI and a VII, no new Nova. I guess if i wanted to go ride a 26 tomorrow, i should head south instead of north?

PrevostH3-45
GRT has now received all of the 14 NOVA LFS units (2601-2614). I imagine they'll all be on the road by the end of the week.

Greater Golden Horseshoe Transit
Only a half an hour ago (before I posted this) I saw 2607 pull into Forest Glen Plaza from Strasburg Road reading "Out of Service" so maybe the 2600's are being put into use more often in the north now?! I'm not sure what you're talking about. 26XXs have been out in full force since GRT saftied them and modified the necessary components.

Shows you how much I've been riding GRT lately , since I started driving School Bus, I can park close to home so I haven't been taking GRT as often. Greater Golden Horseshoe Transit
Anyone can tell me would the director of transit for GRT Is? What about Gulph? Thanks Eric Gillespie is the Director of Transit Services for Grand River Transit. As for Guelph? I don't know. As to what the Director of Transit Services exact roles are? I don't know that either . But he is the Director nonetheless. EDIT: A quick Google search shows that Randall French is the Guelph Transit General Manager, hope that helps.
