No need to say request them cause people would want to see them, even though they can go see them in service. For future reference.

Seeing as every request has had people take him up on it, automatically posting them may not be a bad idea as it helps reduce the number of people who say they want to see the photos.
Centralsmt
Or people could just go to City View themselves to see them, it’s not exactly inaccessible........

bsnider001
After the new Novas have been out for seemingly forever, I finally got to ride one this week! 4638 was on the 61 Terry Fox that I took from Tunney's to Lincoln Fields, and still had the new bus smell. A very nice bus to ride (even though I was standing). My one nitpick though is the rear doors... why do they beep every time somebody opens it? They also open inward quite a bit, so I almost got wacked by the door while trying to get off the bus.

To alert the passenger to push the bar, and they dont open as far inwards as the D60LF and LFR so dont complain
sseguin
Surprisingly I haven't ridden them yet. Got to make a point of checking the Novas out soon. I'm familiar with them on the STO and the STM. Overall a nice bus, and a good upgrade for OC Transpo, especially over the Inveros.

Was in Toronto a few weeks ago and noticed theirs is about the width of our D60s.

I can't wait to see the back of the Inveros, especially after my sister nearly burnt her hand yesterday on that piece of metal seperating the seats right at the back of the bus on 4493. I checked it and it was actually quite hot.
Enviro_1203
Contrary to what I posted Monday (I was given false info), 4648 entered service today. 4641(again) and 4653 have been delivered to St Laurent
OCCheetos
I can't remember if this has already been mentioned or not, but isn't it kind of strange that the emergency door release is on the other side of a pane of plexiglass from where the door itself is? I’m not sure I follow. Do you mean there’s a plexiglass divider between the doors and seats and it’s mounted on the opposite side of the door? Doesn't sound like the best setup. Usually it’s above the door or just beside it. Odd design choice. Is the space around the door that tight to not have been able to accommodate it as usual? I think he means the reardoor release which is located on the other side of the plexiglas as seen in the lower picture. 1
