2019 OC Transpo Nova LFS Order

4603-256 at the Nicholas off-ramp ~4:25 this afternoon

4605-86 at Hurdman ~4:35 this afternoon

Also, not a bus spotting, but I saw what I thought resembled a mini-motorcade taking a right from the SE Transitway towards Riverside. The motorcade was formed of 3 black cars with flashing lights on the inside, 1 sedan at the front and 2 Cadillacs tailing. Happened at 4:35.

Never said you were, it was more intended to be an open invitation for editors to feel free to use the picture if they wished to, leaving them to decide if it qualifies for the wiki.

I know @STO_1601 had maintained a list of the first nine units, but I thought I'd post an updated one. There are 20 in service so far.

In service, spotted or confirmed by @Enviro_1203 : 4601, 4602, 4603, 4604, 4605, 4606, 4607, 4608, 4609, 4610, 4611, 4612, 4613, 4614, 4615, 4616, 4618, 4621, 4623, 4624, 4625, 4626, 4627

At City View (as spotted by @JCL) 4619, 4631*, 4634

 

*not confirmed at City View but @whistler saw it on the 417 this week so it seems likely

4617 not listed above, it was at the OTE but hasn't been spotted at City View nor been confirmed/spotted in service.

The following units spotted at City View: 4630 (new, and plated), 4631 (plated), 4632 (new), 4634, 4637 (new).

inside the bus I find them quite , but outside , especially when stopped they are fairly loud from my experiences.

They'd be fine if they had padding in them like they're supposed to. No idea who screwed that up. Can't say I'm a huge fan of the flip-up seats either, you'll fly out of them when the bus takes off or makes turns if you're not careful.

I'm also not sold on the ZF transmissions being a good idea either, from a passenger's perspective at least the shifting seems to be fairly jerky and uncertain. I suppose if they turn out to be reliable long-term then it's a moot point.

The A/C working beyond just the priority seats at the front is nice though, as is the rear-facing NSAS display.

I don't find the American Seating Vision seats bad at all. In fact, I find that the seats in the Inveros, hybrids, and D60LFs are also not bad. They're both just as comfortable for me.

The ZF transmission is the only issue I have with this bus but I will soon be riding one to test it out.

Note that Calgary's 1993 D40LFs had them all replaced with Allison by 2006.
