Interesting that buses do not travel overnight.  Trip schedules start at 8am or 7am and end late afternoon or evening.  One of the complaints about the Greyhound schedule was the stops/communities served in the middle of the night.

I'm surprised they wouldn't install debit/cc machines on buses so they could accept payment without reservations. Also some of the schedules are going to need tweaking cause they should have the frequencies so that they can inter connect with each other with an overnight stay and at least spread out throughout the week.  In Dawson Creek most are timed so u can still take Greyhound to/from Fort St John and Prince George to Dawson Creek and still connect in Grande Prairie. Prince Georgein/ outbound  schedules  u can connect to Vancouver with an overnight stay. I  would have thought Sprinter type vehicles pulling trailers for luggage would have been quite sufficient.

Im thinking you may be right...and Im sure someone will want to pick up some of the Greyhound Canada routes, Especially the Freight also that will be one area that has huge potential for someone!! GCX is profitable so its very puzzling that they would just shut it down. Very disturbing! Im thinking Red Arrow will be doing some expansion as well as Pacific Western. I guess theirs the off chance u may see the Govt pitch in subsidies from all across Canada including the Feds.
