Yesterday:

  • 22-405 was on the 200-W at Beaconsfield / St-Charles around 16:45.

Today:

  • 22-366 was on the 419-W at the Kirkland Colisée at 14:30.
  • I took 22-333 on the 201-CCW leaving Fairview at 14:53. Rode it for the entire loop since I have never taken the 201 on the St-Charles side.
  • 23-211 was on the 72-E at Hymus / St-Jean at 15:53.
  • 22-343 was parked as the 225 at Fairview at 16:02.
  • 22-282 arrived as the 218 and interlined to the 217 shortly after.
  • AN 22-418 left Fairview as the 216 at 16:22.
  • I took 22-337 on the 485-W at 16:30.
  • I took 22-274 on the 218-E leaving Antoine-Faucon / St-Charles at 16:56.
  • 22-396 was on the 196-S at Côte-Vertu / Alexis-Nihon at 17:45.
  • I took 23-201 on the 72-E leaving Côte-Vertu / #2308 at 17:48.
  • I took 22-309 on the 409-N leaving Du Collège at 18:05.

Despite being SL buses, I have never taken 22-274 and 22-309 before. So now I have been on every SL 22-XXX that's currently active. As for active SL 23-2XX, I am still missing a ride on 23-213.

22-337 doesn't run very well. It is very shaky and there was a loud, high-pitched noise coming from the engine.

I had originally planned on taking 22-274 on the 16:15 218 departure from Fairview, but it was a no show. It looked like it short turned into service in the eastbound direction at Antoine-Faucon / St-Charles since it was parked there when I got there at 16:49. 22-274 rides well and its transmission has a nice whine.

I took it today on the 90 (doing driver training), and those 211 papers were still there.

In addition to 23-205, I got to ride a lot of 22-XXX today:

  • 22-328 on the 144-E at 9:18.
  • 22-282 on the 215-W at 14:01
  • 22-366 and 22-309 on the 419-E and 419-W, respectively.
  • 22-404 on the 216-E at 16:07.

Saw quite a few as well:

  • 22-333 was on the 64.
  • 22-418 was on the 215.
  • 22-344 was parked at Fairview (likely renfort)
  • 22-284 was on the 201.
  • 22-332 and 22-324 were on the 72.

All sightings but 22-328 and 23-205 were shared with @Frozen Yogurt

22-366 so far is still at St. Laurent then. On the STM Facebook page in the post about St. Denis reopening, 23-213 is back there.

Seems like they're in the process of moving some.

22-274, 22-306, 22-328, 22-337, 22-349, 22-365, 22-368, 22-403 and 22-404 are all at St. Denis.

Recall that I took 22-404 at SL yesterday.

I took 23-222 on the 144-E at 8:46 this morning. I'm really glad SD got the 144, sure beats MR. I should be getting these buses quite frequently while they last.

I took 22-275 on the 144-E at 9:18.

23-225 was on the 105-W at Vendome around 16:50.

Shall we start noting down 24-XXX sightings, as they're 16 years old and two are already retired? I can update the title of this thread.

I'm not opposed. You can even link my spreadsheet on the first post to keep track of the 24-XXX.

SL only has a handful of 22-XXX left ☹️. The majority of them seem to have moved to SD.

  • 22-423 doing the 141 EB at St. Michel Metro around 15h10
  • 22-410 doing the 67 SB at same place at 15h15
  • 22-400 doing the 193 WB at Jarry / Galeries D'Anjou at 16h03 (got on it)
  • 22-368 doing the 55 NB at De Castelnau Metro around 16h45
  • 22-396 doing the 18 EB at Beaubien Metro at 18h16 (got on it)
  • 22-274 was the next 18 or a late 18 EB, it was running behind it

22-400 on the 193, how old school to get a 22 on this route again after so many years! :D Enjoyed the ride. 22-396 no longer has the checkered front bumper. 22-410 is finally back from LaSalle after being there for a month or so.

  • SMS changed the title to STM 22/23/24-2XX Retirement Watch/Sightings

24-297 was on the 165 today and it has the new reader installed! First old bus I have seen with one so far.

24-256 was doing the 13h58 496 from Lionel Groulx.

24-282 was doing the 109 at 14h57 at Angrignon. Came from the 37.

Legendre's 24-203 was on the 106 WB roughly the same time.

St. Denis 23-201 was doing the 470 WB from Cote Vertu metro at 17h15. Got on it!

24-266 was on the 139 NB at Pie-IX metro at 19h38. Got on it. ?

22-400 was the last 139 NB of the night running past 11 so this is a camera violation! Saw it outside my window at 23h10!

22-400 is not a camera violation. It is equipped with the old camera system, so technically allowed. Though the rule says they are supposed to run buses that have Night Vision Cameras installed in the 2006 and up.
