If I correctly understood the booklet they distributed it seems that all buses will be painted at the same spot but not at the same date.

Yeah, that's what I thought. @malikcollins mentioned seeing "another 3XX" though, so I was wondering where that was.

Also, @Matt Demers isn't 22-357 a St. Denis bus? I know it was running out of Frontenac in the weeks preceding the Mural festival though.

The second mural bus is 22-355. I took a "before" photo this morning:

Yesterday:

  • I took LE 22-268 on the 90 around 17:10.

Today:

  • 22-386 was on the 55 around 9:00.
  • 22-297 was on the 24 around 14:00.
  • 22-206 was on the 104 around 17:25.
  • 22-270 was on the 17 around 17:35.
  • 22-239, 22-251 and 22-338 were on the 105 this evening. 22-239 was parked in front of Concordia for about an hour (18:30-19:30) before driving off. Maybe it had a mechanical problem

Also, 22-346 was tracking on the 468 during PM rush. This bus hadn't been seen active since April.

For some reason, 22-354, 22-356 to 22-358 were at Anjou for a few years despite they were St. Denis buses. Only 22-358 went back to SD a few weeks ago.

22-247 was most likely on the 171 WB at Cote Vertu / Alexis Nihon at 8h07.

22-339 on unknown route at same time.

  • 22-206 as En Transit on Sauve near St. Michel around 7h20
  • 22-392 doing the 140 EB at Sauve / Lajeunesse at 7h34
  • 22-347 doing the 121 WB at Cote Vertu Metro between 7h50 and 8h10
  • 22-305 parked as the 115 in front of the Kraft plant on Devonshire at 8h20
  • 22-324 doing the 115 WB at Pare / Devonshire around between 8h20 and 8h25
  • 22-367 doing the 166 SB at Vezina / McDonald at 8h30

22-206 is finally back at Legendre. It was most likely going to do the 121 from the St. Michel street terminus. 22-347 has the same rear lights as 22-349. 22-305 and 22-324 are back from St. Denis with 22-324 having a white vent and original Novabus front emblem.

As long as vague sightings are tolerated here, why don't you guys hit up the 168/178 in AM rush? On Monday I saw a fair amount of these units on Robert-Bourassa.

Those are definitely some of the best routes for them. The 178 was running with 22-XXX only when I checked iBus yesterday morning.

On that note, 22-330 resurfaced on the 178 this afternoon. It had previously been parked outside SL for quite a while.

22-378 was tracking on the 141 in the afternoon. There were no recorded sightings of this one before.

22-261 was on the 129 in the morning.

The final mural bus is 22-336 (Pride theme):

Once again they did a very nice job. But I wonder unlike last year it was all Frontenac buses, would these 3 run with Frontenac on the 24 again or will run on routes in their respective garage's routes?

  • 22-400 doing the 121 WB at St. Michel / Sauve this morning between 7h15 and 7h25
  • 22-210 doing the 41 EB at Sauve / Papineau at 7h30
  • 22-232 parked as En Transit at the loop near the cemetery at Sauve Metro around 7h35
  • 22-292 doing the 121 WB at Cote Vertu / Montpellier at 7h45
  • 22-248 broken down at Jean Talon / Des Jockeys around 8h25
  • 22-363 doing the 161 WB this evening
  • 22-326 doing the 139 NB at Pie-IX / Denis Papin at 20h52

22-292 is back from Frontenac but I wonder if SL provides an extra on the 121. 22-248 had the triangles around it as a mechanic just arrived with 29-042. But the strangest sighting is seeing St. Laurent's 22-326 on the 139! uFnx2.gif

22-271 was on the 219E at Highway 40 / Ste-Marie around 9:15.

22-394 was on the 420E around 11:45. I later caught it on the 13:30 departure from downtown.

22-381 was on the 178S on Robert-Bourassa around 11:45.

22-345 was on the 24E in the early afternoon.

22-350, 353, 365, 369 and 380 were all on the 161 this afternoon.

22-362 and 366 were on the 160 this afternoon.

22-367 was on the 92W around 16:15. St-Denis routes are the best for hunting 22's! They seem to have the highest proportion of them.

22-404 was on the 202 at Dorval Station around 18:40.

I saw 22-394 tracking on your departure. It ended up on the 90 during PM rush though, which is weird (no scheduled interline). Since yours was one of the 420-1XX extras (I've taken it before) I think it must have been a change off for something.

I agree about St. Denis. Sadly, I won't be able to take 22-XXX on the 144 until the fall since all eastbound departures next board period (weekdays) are operated by runs requiring cameras. :(

Today:

  • 22-279 was on the 24 early this afternoon.
  • I took 22-304 on a Legendre extra of the 51 around 17:10. I probably won't be seeing any 22-XXX on this route again until at least the fall.
  • 22-347 was En Transit on Queen Mary near MacDonald around 17:20.
  • 22-360 was on the 166 near St. Joseph's Oratory around 17:35.
  • I took 22-358 on the 119 around 17:55.
  • 22-289 was En Transit at Beaumont/Rockland around 18:20. It was probably coming off the 179.

  • 22-323 doing the 192 EB at Jarry / Pie-IX around 7h15
  • 22-400 doing the 121 WB at St. Michel / Sauve at 7h26
  • 22-284 as En Transit on Thiemens near Begin at 8h00
  • 22-402 doing the 115 EB in front of the Kraft plant on Devonshire at 8h20
  • 22-387 doing the 115 WB at Pare / Decarie around 8h30
  • 22-201 arriving as the 161 at Rosemont Metro at 21h31

It's funny how 22-400 is always on the 121 each morning around the same time. 22-402 went back to St. Laurent. Legendre's 22-201 on the 161 then went out of service.

6/16/18

  • 22-323 doing the 141 WB at Jean Talon / Pie-IX at 14h17
  • 22-292 doing the 168 SB at Square Victoria OACI at 15h40

22-323 is still missing the second "3" in the front. I thought 22-292 went back to St. Laurent but now its back at Frontenac again.

iBus: 22-256 on the 136 this morning, 22-401 on the 200 this morning

Sorry, but what does this mean exactly? Also, change offs are just buses that replace another bus for whatever reason, right?

22-354 and 419 were tracking on the 44.

22-201, 267, 353, 363, 365, 369 and 373 were all tracking on the 18 around 16:30!

The 420 can't use the highway anymore so all buses that do the route run way behind schedule due to the detour. To minimize the effect of these delays on the rest of the network, most 420 departures are operated by special buses that do the 420 only. For example, your 13:30 departure was supposed to be run 191-57 which interlines from the 58 then to the 191 after the 420 departure. Instead, 191-57 goes directly from the 58 to the 191 while another bus (420-101, for example) would cover the 420 departure. 22-394 probably re-entered the garage after finishing the 420 then got sent out again to replace a bus that had some problem on the 90 (which is what a change-off is).

It seems like the 420 departures won't have 100-series run numbers as of tomorrow though, since they've designed the schedule to minimize interlines.

  • 22-354 doing the 141 WB at Jean Talon / Pie-IX around 12h20
  • 22-341 doing the 44 NB at Radisson Metro at 15h16
  • 22-378 doing the same route same place 15h23
  • 22-419 doing the same route same place 15h34
  • 22-201 doing the 18 WB at Beaubien / Val D'Anjou at 16h15
  • 22-363 doing the 18 EB at same place 16h21
  • 22-353 doing the 18 WB same place at 16h23
  • 22-309 doing the 106 WB at Newman / Lise at 17h09
  • 22-283 doing the 113 from Angrignon Metro at 17h57
  • 22-309 doing the 113 right after 22-283 at 18h09 (got on it)
  • 22-283 arriving as the 106 at Angrignon at 20h04
  • 22-244, 22-302 and 22-381 parked outside Frontenac

It was nice to see STM's oldest bus in service on the weekend. St. Laurent's 22-341 on the 44 is a strange one but as can notice, their 2nd gens are all over the island now. 22-378 has small numbers in the back, unsure if this is still a Legendre bus or not. 22-353 still has the vented panel like the 2008+ LFS. 22-283 has black soot covering the entire rear end. It was tracking on the 106 after Gerbil saw it on the 90 in the morning, then went to do the 113 then back on the 106. St. Laurent's 22-309 back to it's original garage territory. St. Laurent's 22-302 and 22-381 are parked where the shunts are.

iBus: 22-238 on the 141 in the morning, 22-350 on the 31, 22-365 and 22-367 on the 161, 22-267 on the 18, St. Laurent's 22-345 on the 168, 22-222 on the 187

22-403 was En Transit on Boulevard St-Jean going south around 14:45.

  • 22-408 as En Transit on Pie-IX near Jarry  around 7h15
  • 22-286 as En Transit going towards St. Laurent garage on Thiemens / Beaulac at 8h08
  • 22-302 doing the 225 WB near Cote Vertu / Marcel Laurin around 8h18
  • 22-329 as En Transit at Cote Vertu Metro around 8h20

22-302 is already back at St. Laurent after being at Frontenac last night.

Also, according to an STM Facebook page question that got answered by the STM, the three painted buses will be put on the 15, 24 and 150. But don't count out the 715 imo as well since that route ends well before 11pm.
