A bus driver from FR garage told me a couple of months ago that they expect 50 buses later this year.

St. Laurent is actually much larger, with space for 255 buses compared to 152 at Frontenac. I found a (somewhat dated) list of the capacities in this thread:

West Island Transit Fan
Hybrids have started to dominate the West Island on weekends: 5/26 38-030 and 38-041 were on the 201. 38-006 and 38-015 were on the 202. Got on 38-006. 38-031 was on the 208. 38-012 and 38-016 were on the 217. Got on 38-012. 5/27 38-025 was on the 202. 38-006 was on the 205. 38-014 and 38-030 were on the 206. Got on 38-030. 38-029 was on the 207. 38-020 was on the 215. 38-031 was on the 217. 38-026 parked En Transit at Fairview. This is kinda sad because most West Island routes now exclusively operate with 2010+ buses on weekends. Before, most 2XX routes usually had at least one 2002 or 2008 on it. I welcome air conditioned buses in the summer. This move was decades too late.

Fair enough, although it does suck in spring and fall when it's 10-20° and you can't even open a window. - Yesterday 38-005 was on the 203 and 38-032 was on the 202. Today I took 38-028 on the 202, which interlined to the 208. The A/C was a huge plus. 38-001 was on the 205. 38-018 was on the 72. 38-037 was on the 215. I agree. I think tip-in windows like on the TTC LFS would have been a better choice to discourage people from opening them in the summer but still have air flow in the spring/fall. Some other problems with these windows are that the plastic inner layer comes loose quite easily and also gets dirty. I took 36-035 a few days ago and the windows were smeared with greasy hand prints. - 38-042 and 38-045 were on the 200 today. I rode 38-045.
