I think it would have run fine if it were running by itself.. I’ve heard anecdotally that the BBCs didn’t play well with the older cam control flyers either when they were in Toronto. The line voltage spikes from the contacts opening and closing would give the chopper electronics indigestion. Fewer trolleys and larger headways. Plus one trolley with regenerative braking is not going to make a big impact on a handful of non regens. ETS was half-hearted about it at best. Of the year or so "Vanna" was in Edmonton, it was available for service every day, but ran only about 59 days. Trolleys have not plied Edmonton streets since May 02, 2009. TRAMS is selling the front and side roller signs off of 132. By this posting, it could already have been sold.
