Because transferring buses in numerical order would be a large amount of effort for absolutely no gain. The buses are parked in a random numerical order based on when their runs get back to the yard, when they come out of the shop and so on. When it's time to transfer a bus to another yard no one is going to rearrange the entire yard (and possibly change over a bus in service) just to ensure that the transferred buses are in order.  3 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They are confirmed internally and physically on the bus' exterior I guess the TMAC systems just need to be updated.
