MiWay Nova Bus Deliveries & Entered Service Tracking

Since the TTC gets an entered service tracking thread for their Novas, I thought it was only fair that MiWay's Novas should get one too, so here goes, albeit a much smaller operation:

Was told by a MiWay driver today that not all drivers are NOVA-trained, so dispatch has to be careful what assignments get NOVAs. (He has yet to be scheduled.)

True...I should've mentioned that I was referring to orders in recent years.

You know it is a ticketable offence for using your cell phone while driving.

As with any electronic device, no matter what it is and what it is used for. To be safe, you should have either a dashcam or a passenger who can take the photo for you.

I see from the TTC section that most of the 2017 NOVAs have been delivered; hopefully MiWay will be getting the balance of their order soon.

In a query to City staff I have been informed that all NOVAs will be on property by March 31, 2018 and in service by mid-year.

They have to be all delivered by March 31, 2018 anyways in order to qualify for the PTIF.
