Community Shuttle
1003, a 2005 Orion VII/BAE demo, is missing from the list of retired demo buses. It was built as a demonstrator, painted in TTC colors, but to the spec of NYCMTA. It eventually became Ulster County Area Transit #42. VIN: https://cptdb.ca/wiki/index.php/Orion_Bus_Industries_VII_'5_VINs'#56701840 Here's a pic of it if you're wondering:

Articulated
Added 1003 to the CMBC page. Thanks for the information on it. @Community Shuttle, do you (or other members) happen to know if there were other buses that demonstrated with CMBC that fit in the number gap between 1003 and 1007 (the BYD)? Dr. BusFreak
Are administrators and CPTDB Wiki Moderators the only ones that can rename articles? Because I can't seem to rename this article to Translink UBC Exchange, as TransLink has renamed the UBC Loop to UBC Exchange. So if somebody could rename this article for me, that would be great. Yes, only administrators or Wiki Moderators are able to delete, move/rename, or protect pages. FYI, there is a Modifying a page title thread over in the General Info section, that you can post in if you think a page title needs to be changed. I have made the name change for the UBC page this time.

I don't believe that any demonstrator buses were ever numbered 1004-1006, but... in the late spring of 2011, three demonstrator buses that do not appear anywhere on the Wiki did run in active service: an Orion VII NG, a New Flyer Xcelsior and a Nova LFS artic. I don't remember how long they ran in service, but I do know that they didn't carry any CMBC fleet numbers. I suppose it's possible that these coaches were known internally as 1004, 1005 and 1006, but that's pure speculation. Edit: see here for photos of the aforementioned buses. The Xcelsior and the Orion VII NG ran in service for both CMBC and West Vancouver Municipal Transit, but I believe that the Nova LFS artic only ran for CMBC. According to David's descriptions on the page, the trial was in June and July of 2011. I myself only have photos of the LFS artic running on the 135/145 and the Orion VII running in West Van.
