The current photo of 7876 is older so I'm providing a more recent one. TTC 7876 is seen parked on Bingham Ave. at Kingston Rd. before setting out on the 502 bustitution. For a good picture to be posted, it needs to have a good angle, and sufficient lighting on the bus. The side of both of your pics are very dark. Don't ask me that, ask whoever uploaded those the reason why they uploaded it. Also that 7802 pic, the person who put in that pic got banned I believe for putting shitty images on CPTDB. In the case of a mobile photo with the bus partially out of frame, the actual bus is cut off. In the case of a head on shot, like the aforementioned ones I posted, the entire actual bus is in the shot, but you can't see all of it... similar to how you won't ever see the rear of the bus in a front photograph. It just happens to be a different angle. So treating them as the same type of photograph feels like a bit of a false equivalence. That being said, I am not married to the idea of any of these photos being the showcase photos for any of the aforementioned buses. If anyone believes that any of the aforementioned photos go counter to wiki guidelines, then by all means, feel free to delete them. However, I had no reason to believe that they would provoke ire as there are quite a few photos on the TTC rosters that are head on shots, or the bus is partially obscured by a car, pole, construction equipment, etc. Those have been up for years and no one has ever complained about them, so I didn't anticipate that it would be my head on shots that would generate controversy. I just saw that the buses didn't have photographs uploaded, and I knew I had photos of them, so I thought I'd volunteer mine. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
