MK78
Well, there is a power cut at St.George, so no power from Ossington to Yonge, yet the turnbacks are from Keele to Woodbine. So definitely not at Broadview again in the east end.

I don’t think that crossover (which is actually a centre pocket track) is really suited for turnback use. Either that or there is something wrong with it.
Shaun
There is a slow order going in and out of Finch. Blue light.

Kelvin3157
The blue flashing lights at track level are WAWs - or work area warning lights.

But I was posting that in reference to earlier discussion about the turnbacks going all the way to Woodbine and not Broadview.
CJ.
Supplementary shuttle on line 3 right now, saw 2 old queensway orion's which is unusual because they typically never do line 3. the rest seem to be birchmount and mcnicoll and malvern buses. Line 3 will most likely be closed tonight Edit: its already announced to close at 7pm tonight There's also supposed to be a ton of extra buses out tonight (from Birchmount at least) so lets see which route gets them and which ones get neglected if this storm is as bad as they are saying it is
MK78
I heard a train on the Vic Park/Warden open cut losing power, though it managed to make it, so if this keeps up we may get stuck trains there like in the snowmageddon of last year.
MK78
Well it looks like the subways survived the storm, but I guess the SRT is still not in service, maybe they didnt run storm trains I don't remember hearing those comms yesterday.

MK78
Oh boy, another Priority at Castle Frank. Turnbacks St. George to Woodbine. This one may not be serious, person is under the lip of the platform and may be ok as the staff on scene are communicating with him. It appears this idiot went down to pick something up that he dropped to track level, no contact made. I hope he is charged by the police and for the cost of the response by all agencies involved. blue.bird.fan
This is the second time I've been stuck in a St. George to Woodbine delay over the past few weeks. This one lasted about 30 minutes and was because of a mechanical issue that then evolved to an operational issue. What does this mean? They really should fix the pocket track between Chester and Broadview, as I saw it in use back in the fall. I'm kind of tired of having to shell out for Ubers just to get to my appointments on time.
