38 Highland Creek
On Friday 2016-09-23 night at 21:30, a murder took place in the TTC portion of the Scarborough Centre bus bay, so no buses were allowed in until Saturday 2016-09-24 at 08:45. Also Line 3 trains bypassed this station as well.

I passed by on one the first few trains westbound after the delay cleared. Looked like the Police use only box was on the platform with some TTC track workers also on the platform around the box. Xtrazsteve
Although they claimed 93 shuttles buses operated, about 8 of them never made it to shuttle people before it was cleared. These are mainly the Queensway buses and the 3 191's that got stuck on Bloor.

Service is pretty thin on most routes and usually by time they arrive the closure has cleared.

Once it's past 7am, it's impossible to get any shuttles across the city. Buses from Jane, Keele, Ossington and the 168 made it there and did couple of trips. Kipling is just too far away. They were telling people to use alternatives like 87 Cosburn but they took buses from that route too.

The trains were packed for about 45 mins after the delay cleared.

Those at Greenwood or Donlands could just walked to Pape. Apparently there wasn't enough trains out in the west end so everyone on line 2 was facing delays. Personal injuries last well over an hour. I think TTC should have done more by advertising to tell people to take the GO at Kennedy and Main. SmartTrack would be a great relief during these times. Danforth GO is hard to get on as most trains are packed at that time when you get to Danforth. Kennedy would be the same as less trains on that line. It depends on how long it takes to find everything. The one on Halloween at Castle Frank almost lasted 3 hours as the supervisor put it "the debris field was larger than normal".
