A few delays and closures this morning:

- Line 1 was closed from spadina to St Andrew from the start of service until 9:00 AM due to a late clearing work zone.

- Line 2 is closed from St George to pape for Prince Edward bridge maintenance. It was closed yesterday as well, and will be closed tomorrow.

- line 4 is closed today until 2:00 PM. This is for work related to 1 person train operations.

Although they claimed 93 shuttles buses operated, about 8 of them never made it to shuttle people before it was cleared. These are mainly the Queensway buses and the 3 191's that got stuck on Bloor.

I don't why they bother dispatching Queensway buses on shuttles. Service is pretty thin on most routes and usually by  time they arrive the closure has cleared.

Hope they learn their lessons this time. Once it's past 7am, it's impossible to get any shuttles across the city. Buses from Jane, Keele, Ossington and the 168 made it there and did couple of trips. Kipling is just too far away.

They were telling people to use alternatives like 87 Cosburn but they took buses from that route too.

A lot of people just waiting for the delay to clear. The trains were packed for about 45 mins after the delay cleared.

It's faster to wait than take a shuttle bus if it's going to clear in 15 min. Those at Greenwood or Donlands could just walked to Pape. Apparently there wasn't enough trains out in the west end so everyone on line 2 was facing delays. Personal injuries last well over an hour.

I think TTC should have done more by advertising to tell people to take the GO at Kennedy and Main. SmartTrack would be a great relief during these times.

Danforth GO is hard to get on as most trains are packed at that time when you get to Danforth. Kennedy would be the same as less trains on that line.

It depends on how long it takes to find everything. The one on Halloween at Castle Frank almost lasted 3 hours as the supervisor put it "the debris field was larger than normal".
