In this case, how would the crew change from one-person to two-person at St. George be handled, as the station is no longer available?

Supervisory personnel would inform the operators that the crew change location would be moved to Spadina Stn (I’ve seen crew change overs take place there)

As of November 23 @ 10:34am there is no service from Spadina to Union on Line 1 due to an unauthorized individual at track level. The Spadina streetcar is being used as an unofficial alternative during this time. Update, 11:18am, regular service resumed.

In a separate delay, Line 3 SRT is also down as of 11:15am on November 23 due to an unauthorized individual at track level. Regular service has resumed as of 11:25am.

Update, 12:47pm, regular service resumed (but only for a bit).

I was actually stuck on the train that crapped out. It died exactly at Ellesmere station (WB), we were there for at least 20 minutes before they took the train out of service.

Two people have apparently been stabbed on the Scarborough RT on a train between SCT & McCowan.

Service is suspended.

Update, regular service has resumed. Buses were also being redirected away from Scarborough Centre Station. Would they be serving McCowan instead?

I didnt hear where the shuttle was going. but the police were at SCT, and a suspect was arrested there. I didn't hear of condition of the victims. Maybe it'll be on the news.

Just heard an announcment at kipling that there is no trains keele to woodbine because of multiple police investigations.

From what  I heard on the TTC radio, there were undercover officers there and one with a rifle at Vic Park station, but nobody was found there.

You'd think that something of that magnitude would be all over the local media, but nope, nothing, leaving all of us wandering in the dark in circles wondering what the fuck happened. Why the shutdown of such a large stretch of the line & the multiple police investigations (especially undercover with rifles)?? Who were they looking for (sounds like a citywide manhunt for a particularly dangerous criminal(s))?? Did they catch them?? A lot of questions & no answers...

And this is hardly the first time, there seems to have been reports of a lot of incidents lately where only minimal info was made public ("security incident" / "police investigation" doesn't tell us much, but nonetheless enough to be at least somewhat disturbing & unsettling), and never followed up on, as if it's expected for everyone to forget about it the next day & sweep it under the rug.

No evidence, you mean.

Look, without an arrest or concrete video footage, this could just as easily be police obligated to follow up on a false report dropped by some crackpot.

Sometimes they’re legit, often they’re not.

Now ask yourself, if it did find its way into the daily news grinder, who’s it actually helping? Is it useful? Or does it just feed into the panic mill?

There's been a stabbing on the subway train at High Park station.

Update: 2 people stabbed.

The sad fact that so many of these security incidents are caused by regular crackheads, homeless and mentally ill people that are simply just "redirected" out of the system, only to re-enter at the next station or vehicle.

They are rarely arrested or face any consequence.

If it was any other nation or jurisdiction, where they don't play with drug use and actually impose harsh sentences for vagrancy and drug use, we would not be dealing with over half of the savagery that plagues the TTC. Just goes to show that when drug use is enabled through extremely destructive and downright dangerous decisions like Tory opening up those "safe injection sites", this is the end result.
