Miami-Dade Transit has had a very interesting past 6 months. With the introduction of the Better Bus Network. Seen in this picture is bus 19108 a 2019 New Flyer XN40, on layover between runs on the new route 37. Most MDT buses are covered in advertising and dirty. 19108 was surprisingly clean of wraps and washed. I assume it was used fir a event as Miami-Dade normally washes their buses for events.

TTC restored GMC New Look #2252 is posed beside Rapido Trains #3380 at the McNicoll bus garage on April 21, 2024. The Motor Bus Society was in town for its Spring 2024 convention and McNicoll was one of the garages that were visited. Jason Shron, President of Rapido Trains brought his GMC New Look (ex-Calgary) to the garage as well and can be seen behind the wheel of the bus.

End of an era. The 2007 New Flyer Low Floor Restyled (LFR) buses were the first low floor buses purchased by Fairfax Connector with 68 buses in total (52 40-foot, 16 35-foot). They were all retired in February 2024. Pictured here is 9708 (a 2007 D40LFR Fairfax Connector bus), taken at the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station in November 2022.

Winnipeg Transit 387, a 2019 XD60, on Route 649 Chevrier, as it passes through the Whyte Ridge neighbourhood. Route 649 is a 40-foot-only route, making this an extremely rare sighting. Photo taken on the morning of May 28th, 2024.

Some European candidates:

First photo is of a 2023 VDL Futura #LF210 on O'Connell Street in Dublin. These brand new double decker coaches are distributed across Ireland, but the best experience riding one was between Dingle and Tralee. Much of the beautiful, green Irish countryside was taken in from the top window of these very comfortable and powerful coaches. Drivers in Ireland were also very pleased with their performance.

Second photo is of the Galway Bus Terminal with a few Bus Eireann Volvo coaches ready to take passengers to places like Cork, Limerick, and Tralee. Red Expressway coaches provide commuter service to many small towns and villages between the major cities and even stopping on request at the entrances of farms, while the blue and yellow coaches were usually spotted on routes headed to the major airports in Ireland, though I can't say for sure, just based on my observations.

On one of the last days for the route, Brampton Transit 2076 is seen running on route 501C on York University's Keele Campus in Toronto. This branch of the 501 was recently discontinued due to fare integration with the TTC, and to reduce costs from using Highway 407. The route was the last non-TTC route to directly serve the Keele Campus. Photo taken on June 19, 2024.
