A rare scene in Brooklyn this weekend: MTA New York City Bus 2015 Nova Bus LFS 8161 crosses Church Avenue on the B68 to Coney Island.

Due to Jackie Gleason depot having runs on multiple subway shuttles, the Staten Island division was covering additional service on the B68 bus for the Culver Line Signal Modernization project. New Flyer buses dominate Brooklyn and Jackie Gleason depot is 100% New Flyer, running C40LFs, XN40s and XN60s, so LFSes are extremely rare.

Seen here are LIRR 2019 Kawasaki M9s #9033 and #9065 at Kew Gardens station in the Kew Gardens section of Queens. 9000-9092 are the first trains in an order that will eventually replace all M3s on the LIRR. These are the first LIRR trains to have the new blue/gold "Cuomo" livery that is used on the MTA's newer buses.
