An uncommon sighting of an empty double decker seen serving Hazeldean Mall as Local Route 164 in Ottawa's West end on March 31st. Usually filled with passengers, now a phantom on wheels.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Calgary Transit has been placing larger buses on certain routes, to ensure that proper social distancing guidelines are being met.  This means higher volume routes in the city may have articulated buses running on it all day, and some higher volume shuttle routes may have 40-foot buses on them.  Calgary Transit 6026 is seen heading southbound at 52 Street and 106 Avenue SE while working Route 23 - 52 Street East.

The Victor Valley Transit Authority (VVTA) displaying a special bus to honor all front-line workers throughout the Victor Valley. Adorned with eyes and a very large face covering, the VVTA bus salutes all ‘essential workers’ that are traveling to their jobs and keeping the community running.

On Friday May 11th 2020, the segment between Montreal Central station and Bois-Francs station on the Deux-Montagnes line was permanently closed for work on the new Réseau Express Métropolitain (REM) light metro system. Here we see MR-90 EMU #481 leading a Deux-Montagnes bound train passing on the former location of the Mont-Royal station during the last day of service

Greyhound Canada tentatively shut down operation as of the end of the day on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. The loss of ridership due to the Covid-19 Coronavirus was the reason for the shut down. It is not known how long the shut down is for, and when, and if Greyhound Canada will resume operations. On the final day, Greyhound Canada 0644, a Prevost X3-45, departs the Toronto Bus Terminal at 4:30 PM destined to Kitchener.

CMBC 2000 D40LF 7426 heads west on Pender at Cambie as a route 22 on June 15, 2020.   CMBC recently reactivated a small number of D40LF buses to deal with the impending conversion of the route 9 trolleybus service to diesel operation, and the continued operation of extras for Covid-19 distancing.  Prior to this, the D40LFs were only used for training, having been removed from the active roster after the delivery of the 2019 XN40 order.

CMBC V7426 resting at Dunbar loop displaying a bit of an odd sign. As Michael mentioned above, a few D40LFs have been revived due to the dieselisation of route 9 to allow for construction to begin on the Broadway corridor of the millennium line.

E40LFR 2119 lays over in Boundary Loop in the early hours of June 20, 2020, waiting to depart at 2:22am as the final trolleybus trip on route 9 for at least five years.  Starting with the service day of June 20, route 9 will be run be diesel buses as the overhead on Broadway is removed to allow for construction to begin on the extension of the Millennium Line from VCC-Clark to Arbutus beneath Broadway.

@1604 here is my submission:

MTA NYC Transit is in the process of receiving an order of 15 fully-electric 2019 New Flyer Xcelsior CHARGE XE60s. Seen here is #4964, a newly delivered unit, running on the M60-SBS to Broadway-106 St. The M60-SBS runs to LaGuardia Airport, and because of this, usually uses the 2017 Nova Bus LFSAs equipped with Luggage Racks. XE60 #4950 was equipped with luggage racks to run on the M60-SBS, but other units occasionally run on the M60, such as 4964 here!
