This is my first time submitting a pic to this thread so please don't hate on it too much.

Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) bus 5128, a 2008 New Flyer C40LFR in a suburban configuration serving route 60. It is part of a handful of C40LFR's that were repainted to the OCBus livery. Taken March 20, 2019

It’s LFS HEV. That’s the hybrid bus, not the diesel. It’s also clearly stated near the front door, “Hybrid Electric”, can’t miss it.

Who cares?  It’s still an LFS whether it’s a diesel or hybrid-electric.  “LFS HEV” is being more specific to the fuel/drivetrain system.

Red Arrow 3029 is a 1991 MCI Classic, bought secondhand from Victoria Regional Transit System in 2010. It is currently one of the oldest active transit buses in the City of Calgary, second only to its sister, 3031.

I love to flex on people who only use their phones but I have to admit, they are getting really good.

Same. Sometimes, I just go fanning with my Huawei P20. Hulling a camera all day, even a mirrorless, gets very tiring.

You can tell the quality difference though, except with ultra high end phones. Plus, Huawei post-processing is really terrible.

Guidelines:

  • Vehicle should occupy the majority of the frame, be centered in the photo, and be the main focus.
  • The photo should preferably show the entire front and one side of the vehicle or the entire rear and one side of the vehicle if a photo that shows the front is already available. Photos showing side detail are also permitted as long as the vehicle is centered in the shot
  • Photos taken in sunlight should have both viewed sides of the vehicle in direct sunlight when possible, or minimal shadows that do not interfere with the viewing of the vehicle details.
  • The entire vehicle should be visible, i.e. not cut off by the edge of the photograph, or be partially obstructed by objects.
  • Watermarks are permitted, but should be minimal and not detract from the photo.
  • Pictures should be of good quality, i.e. no blurring or low pixelation.
  • Photos of retired or otherwise very rare buses are exempt from the guidelines above if no better quality photos exist and/or have been uploaded.

Why did they keep the Calgary stripes on the roof?

It’s a bit extra work some people don’t want to do.  Some of the Ex. Calgary 1995 D40LFs that are now in Winnipeg still have the stripes on the roof as well as some of Calgary’s 2001 refurbed still have stripes on the roof.

3426 on the 133 Neilson leaving Neilson Road and Crow Trail stop

If you want to hate and criticize this, how bout you get off your criticizing butt, go to Malvern and take a picture of the same bus on the same route. Or same bus on a different route.

Well, That looks better! The entire vehicle is shown and centered, nothing in the way, and entire info of the vehicle can been seen (e.i. fleet number, route number, transit logo)

Good Job! I think you have a winner this time!

Thanks. I also just got off 3514 going Northbound before taking that. Some of y’all are right, VISION does say Avenue pretty weird. I think I heard “E-vee-noo” rather than “Ah-vee-noo”

The picture itself is pretty good. Though it could use some editing such as; cropping and increasing the brightness

When you say 7901 is no longer active are you stating that it is stored or retired?
