Interesting destination sign work on the Blue Bird Ultra LF in the back. Was there any reason for that? Strathcona County Transit operated one (maybe more) of their double deckers like that. Not sure of the reasoning - I speculate that maybe the original glass cracked and that provides a more solid solution.

I'm not sure entirely myself. The best answer I can come up with is the original glass cracking like you had suggested. I can seem to remember seeing a picture of those Blue Birds when they were first delivered with the standard sign, and not that customized version...
