Express691
It's 2017 - Time for a new transfer and reactivation thread. Much anticipation, especially with regards to the 10-Year transportation plan! What's gonna start us off? Same rules as the last few years - see below: To quote from last year: "Please post all garage transfers in this thread along with any buses being returned to service from HTC/RTC. Whenever possible try to include where you saw the bus, what route it was doing, and if possible a run number (not required but it's nice)." Also: Please note that... 1: 26-29 are BTC routes and not VTC routes 2: BTC and HTC operate one bus in one day on route 016. 3: HTC operate a few trips on the 49 during rush hour 4: There is a run on the 130 linegroup which starts out as a 144 round trip before doing 130s for the rest of the day. 5: There is a 130 School Special (Moscrop) on the PM peak that is done by an HTC bus. 6: A BTC Saturday block does a few trips on the 106 before doing 130s for the rest of the day. Alright let's see what happens in 2017. Happy Tracking! These units are known to be in storage: 3285 3291 3298 3305 7173 7180 7181 7184 7190 7191 7195 7196 7197 7207 7208 7222 7233 7234 7241 7247 7249 7250 7251 7252 7254 7255 7256 7257 7258 7259 7260 7261 7269 7270 7271 7274 7284 7287 7289 7301 7312 7322 7330 7339 7341 7351 7356 7369 7420 8095
Brando737
Just a note, there is an HTC run that does one round trip on the 130 to Kootenay Loop before going onto 106s on Saturdays.

Mountie
Out of curiosity, is this some sort of yearly tradition? HTC operates a "130 To Hastings" departing Willingdon at Deer Lake at 15:14, quickly followed by another operated by BTC. Presumably to handle the demand from class dismissal along the corridor. There is also a "110 Special" that departs City Hall at 15:10, operated by HTC as well.
ThatBusGuy
Not sure of the run number, but I believe HTC runs a 401 sometime in the afternoon on weekdays

Thats the school tripper for I believe McNair or McRoberts, one of the two. Don't know if an AM tripper exists (as it would have to come off a 410 to do so). Maybe one of the HTC ops here would know. 2 hours ago, Mountie said: HTC operates a "130 To Hastings" departing Willingdon at Deer Lake at 15:14, quickly followed by another operated by BTC. Yes, thats the 130 school tripper for Moscrop Secondary. Its good that they have that to counter-act the amount of buses going in the peak direction (especially with the 125). 5 hours ago, Brando737 said: Just a note, there is an HTC run that does one round trip on the 130 to Kootenay Loop before going onto 106s on Saturdays. That, I never knew. Come to think of it, there still needs to be a bit of work done to the transit centeres wiki page.

EDIT: Also a lot of bad pictures already on the wiki, some are so outdated and I find a ton of better ones on the wiki editing threads.

Yeah this is kinda off-topic, but I recommend a lot of photos and info about the new XN40s and other such as some pictures of buses NOT on the wiki yet, but no one noticed.

All am trippers. Now idk if these are trippers sent to PCT but we might have to wait for PM peak to find out. Someone chased 8026 which was on a 145 this AM. Apparently it was run 34/143. 9586 back at VTC

There are only about a half-dozen retired buses at RTC now. 7195 is there, as well as 7270, couple of 7300s and I believe also at least one D60LF (a high-numbered unit from Poco). There are two full tracks of retired D40LF, C40LF and D60LF at HTC.
