Looking for information

I'm looking for information on Greyhound Canada MCI 102DL3/D4500 #1126, #1127, #1128, #1129, #1133, #1136, #1139, #1144, #1145, #1165, and #1166. Does anybody know what happened to these units? Were they retired and sold or scrapped? Which ones were the good runners and the lemons?

VIN 1M8PDMPA81P054083 is either #1165 or #1166. Could someone confirm which one it is? I thought it'd be #1165 but I'm not sure. I'm looking for the VINs of #1115-1182 other than what has been posted on the wiki.

Also, I'm trying to find out if Greyhound US MCI 102D3 #1102 had a wheelchair lift or not. I know #1100 does.

Cheers

I'm going to reply to my own thread since I have found some information.

#1127 and #1128 were stored in Vancouver. Don't know if sold or scrapped.

#1129, #1136, #1139, and #1144 were stored in Winnipeg. Don't know if sold or scrapped.

No information on #1165 or #1166. Does anybody have anything?

Cheers.

Vin 1M8PDMPA81P054083 was #1166, as for the 102D3'S that came from the U.S. they did not have lifts as that is why they where sent to Canada, like all the 102DL3's that came to Canada they didn't have lifts either.

Thank you! Do you have any more VINs? Specifically for #957-990, #1018-1077, and #1113-1247.

The 102D3 #1102 I was asking about was never transferred to Canada; that's why I wanted to know if it had a lift.

1102 did have a lift, as it was new to the State of Michigan and leased to GLI as #MI-0036, then in Sept. 1994 it was purchased by GLI and #1102, 1102 was one of five D3's that where State buses and sold to GLI.

I do have all the VIN's for Greyhound Canada, I can send you all those VINs by mail if you want, send me your address, will include all the U.S. coaches that came to Canada. I spent alot of time  at the GLOC garage here both checking the builder plates and getting photos.

That would be great! I will send you a personal message!

BTW, this #1102 is reportedly a 1997.

1139 was the Northern Wheelchair coach and ran lots on Edmonton-Dawson Creek-Whitehorse. However I did hear that she was in Winnipeg when the Canadian units were going to get refurbished and was not given such treatment as apparently she was too bad bodywise to undergo a refurb, I would assume she was scrapped as would other units that were ;listed as "stored" in Winnipeg as I think the same thing happened they were inspected and not deemed refurbishable.

Yeah, but #1152 was "stored" in Vancouver and later sold. #1125 was wrecked in 2015 at Jasper, and, last I checked, is for sale at Edmonton. GLI has sold white 102DL3s with 2.3+ million miles. Many of the 102D3s and G4500s were also sold or are for sale. If they are able to sell numerous G4500s, they could probably sell #1139 too. Greyhound seems to be able to sell anything if it's at a low enough price.

BTW, #1127 and #1128 were stored with #1152, so it would not surprise me if at least one of those was sold.
