This weekend there is major work on the Champlain Bridge - as long as it is one lane per direction, the 45 and 90 will be running to Terminus Longueuil. The 45 loads at platform 38 in between wings E and F and the 90 will load at platform 9 in A wing.

Earlier today our artic lines were run by conventional buses but later this afternoon they switched to the 60 footers. I was sent out to provide extras on the 45. I asked to take out a Classic but the request was rejected. :(

More RTL news (here are the salient points):

Route 95 will be abolished on 6 April 2014

Route 29 will have a detour on route towards the end of the line, using rue de Normandie

Route 132 will no longer offer travel between TCV and Panama against the peak (IE not outbound in am rush and not inbound in pm rush).

Marc-Cantin reserved lane returns into effect in AM rush once roadwork resumes on Aut. Bonaventure

Important: due to major work at the intersection of Duke and Wellington, the stop at William and Nazareth will not be served in AM rush. Routes 15, 30, 34, 38, 42, 44, 46, 47, 55AM, 59, 60, 90, 115, 132, 142, and 144 will be detouring via Wellington, Peel, and Notre-Dame to get to the l'Inspecteur reserved lane. No change for routes 5, 31, 32, 33, 37, 45, 49, 50, 55PM, 135, and 150. PM rush routing is status quo.

The 95 will be replaced by the new T94, a taxi collectif route. It will serve the promenades, "downtown" Saint-Bruno and a medical clinic in Saint-Basile Le Grand. I don't know if it will keep the exact same routing inside the city of Saint-Bruno. The T94 already existed before but served the Saint-Bruno industrial park. It was abolished in April 2009.

Nothing wrong with a good taxibus, as long as the route is reasonably direct!

No change to route 99. Very mysterious and disappointing.

To my understanding, route 95 was dead about 99% of the time which is why the RTL is getting rid of it. The drivers that booked work on this route did it because it pretty much meant you were not going to be loading any passengers and have a relatively easy day. This said, it means during the work week that almost nobody travels from St-Bruno to the Promenades. The personal vehicle is the choice way to get around in those parts. A taxibus service is perfectly acceptable for low ridership routes.

Got word that the very first RTL hybrids are almost ready to be delivered! There due at the start of June in less than a month. Looks like the RTL will be the first one to get hybrids out of Quebec's consortium order.

Pretty agree with you on this matter ... has a chance to test route 99 last day for a full ride, way too long to do all the milk run around Saint-Bruno, and they are still parts of the city that are not served well by route 99.
