  • Used on the Blue Dash express routes until 1984.
  • All units came with cushioned seats and carpeting, which were rehabbed in 1985. The carpeting was removed during the rehab.

  • 53 and 56 were retired due to fire damage.
  • Retired in 1990.

  • First Articulated buses in the fleet. 4011 was powered by a Detroit Diesel Series 50 engine.[5] It was the first Ikarus/NABI bus to be powered by a Detroit Diesel Series 50.
  • Retired by late 2005 to early 2006.
  • Sold off.
  • 4020 was bought by LKQ Tampa Truck Salvage in Tampa, FL. Its transmission was auctioned off at Big 3 Truck Parts in Clearwater, FL in February 2009.[6]

Thermo King AC Rooftop Mounted

The CNG buses were extremely slow and had trouble climbing normal grades such as bridges and expressway ramps. They were put on the shortest of trippers for a few years and eventually parked and repowered with Cummins M11 diesels. The particle trap buses remained in service throughout their service spans, but the traps were modified and eventually removed. 

Retired in 2004-05.
