Buzz2kb
Bobcat Shuttle is the transit system for Texas State University in San Marcos. It has a remarkably simple fleet for a college shuttle system of its scale (10 weekday daytime routes or more) . almost all of its fleet are 2-door Eldorado XHF 40ft. in a maroon/gold livery like bus 436. Nevertheless, some of its buses carry in house contravision graphics like buses 403 and 405. Finally, bus 444 is unique among those I've pictured by being a 33ft. or 35ft. (so hard to distinguish!) bus with just one door. It also happen to carry a Lone Star theme as its contravision graphic. Hopefully, I will eventually present other sizable college shuttle systems from Texas in this space, like the Texas Tech shuttle in Lubbock (contracted to Citibus, the local transit agency) and the University of North Texas system in Denton (suburban Dallas). transit addict 327
New buses are arriving for Texas State University! So far, (6) XD40s #501-506 and (2) XD60s #601-602 have been delivered. I'm not sure if the whole fleet of ElDorado's are getting replaced, or only a select few. I believe only 4 articulated buses are on order for the busiest route in the system, 10 Bobcat Stadium. They are expected to be ready for service sometime between mid-summer and when the fall semester begins. 1
