#7875 are now refurbished in red with silver bike rack. I will start off with the list for the 2003 D40LF's first just in case they stop refurbishing the D40LF's for some reason.  They never finished the Fishbowls either. So we need to just watch for now.

The list now includes 2004 D40LF's since 7868 has now been hauled away for refurbishing!  2005's will be added if they start on those.

Please do not quote this list.

Retired units are in blue italic text 

D40LF's refurbished and repainted in red will be in Red bold text.

D40LF's spotted refurbished in red but not active will be non-bold text.

D40LF's still in older 3 stripe livery will be in Blue Bold text. 

I may add another color at some point, but for now, this is how it will work

D40LF's confirmed and ready to be sent out for refurbishing or are confirmed sent out for refurbishing will be in green bold text.

Units in black text non-bold need to be watched for to see if they are refurbished and in new livery or not.

Units in Bold Black Text will be units that we know for sure are being refurbished and just need to post once they are seen active again.

The only problem from my standpoint is that it has the same problem as the XD40's with the front fleet number. The color makes it somewhat difficult to see against the red at times, and the bike rack doesn't help either. Any reason in particular it couldn't be white? Otherwise beautiful livery though! Would be even more cool if it more closely matched the XD40's by removing the white from the front end and making it all red/grey.

Agreed on all fronts - I wish they had gone with white, or at least put the silver numbers above the red. Ditto on the back, but I guess if you put the numbers any lower, they'd be obscured by banner ads.

But I do like the new font. And I'm hopeful this will bring consistency to the fleet decals. Seriously, have any two refurbs actually come back yet with the same placement, size, and font of their decals? :P And that's not even mentioning all the blatantly crooked decals.

Saw #7834 today and it is in the red livery. I figured it was already done for awhile too, but was not 100% sure.  Will edit list now.

Also, I don't know for sure if this bus is going for refurbishing or not, but 7851 is parked on the west side of the shops by the fence.  I suspect it will be leaving soon for refurbishing.  Looking at Transit55, it hasn't been out since the 13th of this month.

7868 spotted on the 91 today back from Refurbishing.  Transit55 shows it in service since the 24th of this month.

Also, 7835 seems to be active since February 22, 2017 so I suspect it is back in service refurbished in the red livery.  So please, if someone spots it, please post so we can confirm it is refurbished.  The only others that we are waiting to see right now are 7827, 7841, 7851, and 7855.  The rest of the 2003's seem to be all done with refurbishing.

7827 already left awhile ago and should be back soon.  7877 has already returned as per an earlier post.

Also, you quoted a post that I have since posted updates for. :P
