May as well spam this thread one more time hehehe.

The majority of the artics found their way onto routes 1, 4, 5, and 9 today, however there were quite a few other routes with 1-2 random runs like yesterday.

Enjoy!

Yea. You will see lots of usual bus sightings over the next while. To promote social distancing and protect the Operators, all non shield buses have been parked which includes the small buses.

Might be some detour modifications in place on certain small business routes.

ETS installs Vapor operator safety doors on bus fleet

Canada’s Edmonton Transit System (ETS) will soon complete installation of operator barrier shields on their fleet of over 900 buses.

The safety protection doors, manufactured by Vapor Bus International — A Wabtec Company, provides a critical defensive safety barrier for bus operators and can protect against physical assaults and unwanted passenger interactions. The heavy-duty door features a large, laminated safety glass that functions as a sneeze guard, and an electric window that can be closed quickly and easily.

The full-size, powered door helps maintain constant temperature in the cockpit area, and includes two built-in, high-velocity fans for optimal air circulation. Unique, robust latch mechanism maintains positive contact and eliminates rattles.

Noticed this: 7154 is currently tracking on an "Unknown" route at one of the garages (not sure which im unfamiliar with Edmontons garages)

Not sure that's a glitch or a bus left signed in. There's a group of 715X's that started on the 747 today. Except it isn't being run as the 747, it's being run as a charter and is not intended for airport travelers right now. Hence they show as unknown route. It could be glitching and not updating because the bus on the airport charter right now is a XD. I didn't pay attention however to the number however, despite passing right by it.

There was at least one LFR that was out on the airport run this afternoon.

7154 is out at the airport right now and sure enough it is tracking as "unknown."

4267 is back on the streets today

Many thanks for the heads-up! I shall stand outside when it goes by my place this evening to see if it in fact has a driver shield... around March 16th was the last day that anything below 4310 (aka anything without a shield) showed up on the tracker.

Sure enough... that bus somehow managed to get a driver shield installed. I guess the 2001's live on!

I really hope so! It seems that the 4200s in the 2000 range are being retired though, I have seen some parked missing bike racks over at the new garage
