And I thought 4025 used rollsigns....

Yes currently.

I don't know what is going to happen. I am guessing the keypad is only for announcing things. Put in the bus code and it announces the destination.

B121 512 ST CLAIR STN

I am just guessing.

Well I caught 4025 with the pad and the external annoucers... Not sure why they would fit a 30 year old streetcar with this....

1206 is at arrow being outfitted with the new "vision" CAD/AVL system. 8335 was next to it if I recall correctly.

1111 has extra reflectors at the rear, just like 12/13/1400s

Someone mentioned to me that 4086 has external announcers working. Ok. :)

7632 has one Presto device. No evidence to support that a rear door one was installed before that I can see.

Started cutting corners when they know they're never gonna send this bus on a streetcar route? Or they finally wised up that there never was need for two readers in the first place?

There's a dedicated Presto thread here. :)

In my experience, only one operator ever told a passenger to try the PRESTO reader in the back when the front one fails... And the front device fails way more often than the one in the back does.

With the upcoming requirement that TTC has announced to tap into buses in fare paid areas, all buses need Presto at all doors.
