When that artic caught fire on the way up to SFU in '03, the whole thing was in flames within 7 minutes, but I seem to recall that the only salvageable part was the bike rack. They showed us the pictures in training. The irony that if a bus is involved in a front-end collision, the bike rack is the most likely component to be damaged...

(One time last fall I picked up an owl 17 with a trolley that had been involved in a rear-ender earlier in the day. The operator I relieved told me that the guy he relieved had rear-ended a 100 in Marine Drive Station. The bike rack was mashed right up against the bumper and unusable.)

lol yeah I remember that pic. :o Anyway, I guess they already have a surplus of extra bike racks *shrug*

I'll try to remember to check RTC tomorrow.  I think there may be some new arrivals ...

I've been meaning to take a drive by, but ever since I don't work there anymore it's kind of out of my way...

And there certainly don't seem to be as many D40LFs in HTC right now. Every day the runs that I have been signing habitually since moving there keep getting shafted with Novas.

Anyone at HTC will tell you how choked I was that on Monday Tuesday of this week, 58/410 got a Nova, and then today when the regular guy was driving it, it had 16011...

RTC check today 1300 Hours....

Retirement line N7180 N7181 H7184 (with skinny font size number above drivers window & front door) N7191 S7247 a few others unable to get numbers on the right side of the XN40's

New arrivals 16016 16019 16020 16031 plus others which I'm unable to get numbers of. I noticed some of the D40LF's which I reported last week are gone. Does anyone know if the D40LF's that are retired are being moved some place else on the property or to another property?

Yeah theyre going down by quite a number. They seem to be putting more of them on 410 blocks and whatever nova is left over gets thrown onto a 123 block. Each time I want to take the 116 to metrotown (cuz screw SkyTrain at the current moment) I keep getting novas :(

Also at RTC are XN40s 16013, 014, 017, 021.  And D4lf's N7195, S7287, S7351, S7312.  Or at least they were as of 0500 yesterday.
