Just buy a small storage barn. Keep the spare units there. Just a thought. We know translink may be broke because the driver's don't get enough pay to skip breaks due to the short recovery time from being late.

The next things going into storage discussion are LFRs and 9400/9600 novas

All i want gone are the nova to me they are complete garbage to my taste buds, as well as the 7447-7504/3309-3358 series. Those are crap to me. We all have different model tastes.

8052 has not been active for quite sometime what will they do with it?

It’s probably the last standing D60LF, so the only logical course of action is to send it on an all-expenses paid trip to the Bahamas to celebrate its retirement. Bon Voyage! 🎉

Idk what they got planned for it. I know this is gonna sound far fetched knowing the current space situation at TRAMS, but maybe preservation? That or they are keeping it until all the broken articulateds get fixed. (Not seeing too many D60LFRs out lately.) Just my guess.

Or holding it to be preserved by TRAMS!

TRAMS doesn't have the space for any more vehicles at the moment.

Sadly, from what I hear,  that wouldn't work either.

Solution: Chop off the back of an XD40, attach the back of the D60LF, and call it a XD60LF

8052 finally moved to HTC for disposal procedure

Probably got towed out since it hasn't been in service for a while. I'm assuming the bus wouldn't be driveable to HTC at this point and was towed instead.
