Looks like one of the CLRV’s are being picked up by Anderson Haulage today. It’s going to Halton according to the escort driver.

Assuming that Halton is just a stop on the way, or a makeshift storage facility for a bit, would this be the 6th CLRV to be on their property? (I'm counting the parts car in that)

It's Halton's. One other car is as well.

Meanwhile back at Russell, 4051 was inside the carhouse with the door open and 4053 was a few tracks away by itself, almost like it's ready for pickup. The dead area still has a number of CLRVs including 44104, 4069, 4179, 4110, 4123, 4187, 4184 and 4048 and many, if not all of them have the TTC logo removed from the sides of the car. There were two more but I couldn't identify them. Someone shoved an umbrella into where 4069's headlight used to be.

Based upon the number of purchased cars still sitting on the property and the number of weekdays left, it is unlikely all sold cars will be removed by the 10 business day deadline.

I have heard that 4040 is the car that left yesterday, as a source didn’t see it while they saw all the other parked out in various places in the yard. It also seems that based off of @christine’s sightings, that 4040 would be the car in question.

Uh oh.  Based on the selling price, buyer’s premium, and the tax, that’s $8068.20 worth of streetcar and that’s before transportation costs.

That means beware.   If a GEEZER comes up to you and offers to show you a trick they practiced up while riding the Yonge streetcar years and years and years ago, watch out, otherwise the next thing you might be saying is, “Hey!  Where’d my wallet go!”

If that’s a the case and the 10 business day deadline comes and goes, it will be interesting to see how willing the TTC is to work with the purchasers or if they’re going to be ruthless about the purchases being forfeit and what happens to the cars.

Anderson was back for the third day in a row but I was out and about so I had no chance of seeing if it was another car going to Halton.

4123 was the car in question. It’s destination was Port Perry (no need for me to say more)

Speaking of 4193, I'm pretty sure this is the car. A bit pricey.

I don't think it's expensive considering if you wanted to build one on your own it's impossible!

I don't think you can run it on your HO scale layout in the basement. Maybe park it in the backyard?

In the description, it appears that they are chopping off the front end and selling the front 10 feet of the car

Someone needs to send the requisite "Is it still available?" message along with a counteroffer of $25 and they deliver.

4051 was removed for scrap today.

That was a surprise considering It looked great last time I saw it.

Only 5 CLRVs  left in the dead tracks at Russell Yard! All have their headlights removed.

That's kinda odd. 4187, which should still be on the lot, still had its headlight in the auction picture.

I passed by on Eastern Avenue late last night on my way home from a trip to Orillia after work with one of the co-workers (it was a long day) and saw the tail ends of the dead yard CLRVs with the stop lights lit up on most of them.  If you only considered the handful of westernmost tracks, you could almost truck yourself into thinking there was a whole fleet of them.  I guess we’re rapidly closing in on the end of the end now.  I almost wish 2019 never ended for many reasons.
