Well there we go.... Scientific proof people!!!

So how would that work? They would need to add third rail contacts? And then make it compatible for high level boarding?

Considering how unreliable they are, what would be the advantage of that when we could use T1's.

What makes you think it would run under its own power?

For all we know, it could become an unpowered flat car.

From an archive post on Facebook: 4037 and 4090 left for scrap on April 5, 2019.

I will have an update to my list of disposal dates in a few days.

Speaking of disposed cars, does anyone know what happened to 4057? It last reported data on either December 29th after the final run or the day after. I have never seen anything mentioned about the car after that date, and it doesn’t appear to be on property anymore.

That car last I heard is still on property and is still intact, at least from the outside. 4187, 4040 and 4193 also remain as well, and should be intact exterior wise.

An update on 4089, a CLRV was spotted by someone I know on Sunday near Dundas and College, with the top roof removed and a truck following behind. I think it's 4089 and I think it's a streetcar workcar now.

Do you got any pics? Was this person a valid source?

There are so many things wrong with this that I call BS on it.

- The roof is off yet somehow has traction/power?

- Why would it be at Dundas and College of all places?

Last time I saw it was Feb 29th in the yard. It was not visible during a subsequent visit in March, although I know at one point there was a small stash of CLRVs inside the carhouse at Russell, excluding 4001 and 4081.

Does anyone know when 4088 was retired/removed for scrap?

Scrap no, but the car was cut in the first week or so of 2017.

I see.

The reason I asked was that some point in the mid 90s, 4088 was rear ended by 4100. 4100 was the more damaged of the two CLRVs but both were repaired and 4100 lasted until almost near the end.

I was told by a volunteer at Halton that its a Seashore parts car. Also I think 4133 is a Halton parts car or a second seashore parts car. Not too sure

I can say with 100% certainty 4133 is Seashore's spare (and they only have one spare). Once they take the trucks off though, it will remain at Halton for parts. 4155 is the American mining museum's spare.

I'm sorry everyone, I goofed. American Industrial Mining Museum's spare is 4170. I don't know whats going on with 4155.

Is this in a spreadsheet format?

If it's a spreadsheet, you can do things like sort on date of retirement, which would also be interesting.

I might do that one day, but not right now as I sit outside a library (distancing in my closed car) using the wifi that is still running.
