Nothing official has been announced yet re the 3 Amtrak routes that cross the border. 

My guess is next spring at the earliest.

Actually.....

 

Amtrak is running a training train out of Albany for Montreal today and tomorrow. It does appear that the Adirondack will restart service somewhat soon.

Maple Leaf and Adirondack Cross Border Service Resumption Plan

Effective Early 2022

Amtrak is working with federal agencies to resume cross border service on the Maple Leaf to Toronto and Adirondack to Montreal.

We hope to resume passenger rail service between our two countries in early 2022. More details to come.

Amtrak Cascades Cross Border Service Resumption Plan

December 1, 2021

Amtrak is working with federal agencies to resume cross border service on the Amtrak Cascades to Vancouver, starting with Thruway bus service December 1.

We hope to resume passenger rail service between our two countries in early 2022. Until then, Cantrail will resume Thruway service from Seattle to Richmond, BC, and Vancouver on December 1.
