Winnipeg Transit XD40s (2015)

Recommended Posts

While I was on the north apron of Brandon Garage on Sunday, 09 August, I saw #844 moving in and out of 'G'. I would guess it's mere days away from going into service.

one thing some drivers that i talked to said was the lack of a front vent on the top of the bus really angers them. Some days its warm but not warm enough for the AC so you open front and back roof vent but with these buses they only have the back roof vent. Along with the fixed head mirror on the drivers side it makes it hard to have the mirror set to each drivers liking.

Spotted 859 earlier today, and rode 845 on the 14. The yellow cord inside is already about as warped as those that never get replaced on the 400s... must be heavy usage.

CT doesn't have Bell Cords in the 2014 XD60's or the XD40's.....

You should see some on calgarys 7700's those yellow cords hang way down due to how heavily used the 7700's have been

I observed #862 this morning northbound on University Crescent "Not In Service" during the tail end of the morning rush. I was also sent a photo Wednesday 04 November 2015 of 870 and 871 at FRG, freshly delivered from New Flyer. This order is coming in quite steadily.
