Are the XN40s equipped with ZF Ecolife 2 6AP1220B or 6AP1400B manual gearbox mounted on the floor by the driver's seat

I don't even know yet. I haven't asked the ART employee about them really.

Also, these buses are confirmed retired for ART: 5252, 5253, 5257, 5275, 5284, 5286, 5292, and surprising 5072.

5253 is also listed for auction

It's not that surprising considering that those 31 LFW 2Gs are already 11-12 years old. That unit must have been a poor performer or was in an accident. I also think it's a safe bet that the new CNGs are #5400-5419 based on how the last new bus order was handled.

5072 was in a fire an ART Employee told me

Interesting, but in all likely hood, they will probably end up getting XE35s and/or XE40s.

In all seriousness, I'm not a huge fan of electric buses. But it would be reasonable to get XE35s/XE40s instead since they already got XN35/40s.
