G.A
Looks like the name changed from CitiLink to CitiLinx. Very nice livery I must say and the new Arboc design looks interesting.

PHATMATT51
So since Route one is always late instead of adding a 5th route they add more to the other 3 so they can all be late at the same time. Interesting concept. Take away 52 stops in the process.
PHATMATT51
The city has a survay going right now about the transit. They are looking into the service maybe expanding it or modifying it. Gave them a ton of suggestions in the comment section. You never know when the bus is going to be at your stop unless you have the App. You could be standing out there for 35-40 mins for a bus if you dont have it. 97SCT
So apparently there is a Route B in the design stage.....https://www.chatham-kent.ca/Transportation/Pages/InterUrbanTransit.aspx
PHATMATT51
Its been in the design stage for a few years now. Will believe it when I see it. B was suppose to be theamsville-bothwell back when I was working for Aboutown but kept getting put off caused of funding. In 2012 we were designing a 5th city route as well but it got scrapped cause of funding as well. Instead they eliminated bus stops on all routes to save time. PHATMATT51
Sounds like CK Transit is finally going to put a 5th run out to cover the newly opened casino on Richmond st and help easy the over loading on route 1 and adding mid day service for the urban routs. Also will be looking at other issues like Sunday service and running later than 7:15(talking to a member of the CK transit task force) https://www.chathamdailynews.ca/news/local-news/new-bus-route-proposed
PHATMATT51
Sounds like also adding a extra inter-urban run as well to fill the gap between 11:45-4:15. Suppose to start in September. Also city has been having public showing of possible revamped of the system. One shows city owned 30ft buses(was told likely Grande West as I guess there was a demo here last month that they really liked) with later hours, 5 routes and betier coverage. Another option is a dial-a-ride option. Having multiple vehicles and just call a stop number when you need a ride.

PHATMATT51
Havent been on much do to health issues but here is a big update for CK Transit. An on-demand pilot program for Chatham, running from January, 2020 until June 30th, 2021 with a request for the purchase of two new buses. https://ckxsfm.com/on-demand-evening-service-proposed-for-ck-transit/ Was approved by council the other night On a smaller note all inner city buses all have a C infront of the numbers now. so now150 is now C150. PHATMATT51
A federal and provincial grant worth $3.6 million has been awarded to Chatham-Kent to address public transit projects. Municipal officials said applications for the grant were submitted in May of 2019, through the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP). Some of the projects listed under the ICIP include terminal upgrades, more bus shelters, and new public transit vehicles with enhanced information and technology. “Achieving this important milestone allows the Municipality of Chatham-Kent to proceed with projects designed to better serve our transit users and to improve public transportation services for the community,” read a release from the Municipality of Chatham-Kent. CK Transit is currently operational, however, some scheduling adjustments have been made due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
97SCT
Made a stop in Chatham the other day. Seen C110, C147 and C150 out. Upon closer inspections of the first two mentioned, they were former St. Thomas units while C150 is either a former demonstrator or Elliot Lake Transit unit.
PHATMATT51
150 was the first to show up when they started the 5th route(was exclusively on it due to the seating I guess) 147 I’ve seen once or twice but 110 is new to me but then again I haven’t been out much due to medical issues. but on a good. It looks like a lot of systems including Chatham leamington, la Salle and St.Thomas will be getting upgrades to their systems and/or zero emission vehicles. The news article says stt is getting 14 vehicles and Chatham is getting 10 with upgrades to its real time and fare system. Also major upgrade to Chathams terminal and new 6 solar powered bus shelters https://blackburnnews.com/london/london-news/2020/08/05/feds-province-funding-transit-improvements-across-southwestern-ontario/
