I mentioned these on here before, but as a kid, I never knew the makes or models. And as a teenager/young adult, I dont even get to go out to Teulon anymore! Flying by at 1o0 km/h also complicates things. I swore, there was a coach there at one point... like, one of those older MCI or Prevosts. No idea what happened to it. Hm... On the AM General Series B Metropolitan model 10240B-6 and 10240B-8's, the body tapers downwards just after the rear doors as shown in my below linked images. From a very reliable source, apparently the buses were owned by a gentleman from Steinbach who owned a taxi company and wanted to start a transit service in the town. He went as far as purchasing the bus (from Kitchener, as mentioned) and painting them up in the attractive scheme. Apparently Council got concerned about the potential damage of the heavy vehicles to the town streets as well as the funding and pulled the plug at the last minute.
