Ed T.
I saw an NG hybrid on the 501 route. I'm not sure that red is the best colour for those two big roof humps.
OC Transpo/STO Fan
I think they were just trying to match the humps with the roof and the livery, but the humps on that hybrid don't look that good in red. They should have just left them white.
Ed T.
The new-livery Novas have white AC roof units, and they look much better. I agree, humps above the roofline should stay white. I guess we'll see if the TTC changes its mind, especially for the 8300s as they are going to be around for a while.

OC Transpo/STO Fan
Is the new livery actually decals, or is it paint?

Yeah, I guess so too, but some buses got rebuilt, so I'm leaning towards paint. Edit: I looked at the VII rebuild thread, and it says that the buses were repainted after they were rebuilt. OC Transpo/STO Fan
So they use both for different buses, technically. Painting for VIIs, and decals for LFSes.

Bus_Medic
If they were so inclined, they could harvest the almost new doors of the outgoing 7s for re use.

Original VII doors would be rear slide glide 36.5”. For the NG, they would be vapor slide glide or flip out 36.5" for the back doors. So they are pretty much the same size. Happy now? Only difference being the mounting method for the flexible conduit up top that carries the touch bar wiring and sensitive edge air hose. (The OG design was actually the more durable one by far)
